Maraton-Goalboll

General information:
MIS, SUGI and Wendelsberg folkhögskola has the honour to invite you to participate in the Marathon Goalboll Tournament at Wendelsberg Folkhögskola in Mölnlycke (15 km east of Göteborg).
The tournament starts Friday 29th. November 18:00 and goes on continually until 12:00 Sunday 1nd. December.
The school is run by IOGT/NTO (A temperance movement). Alcohol is totally prohibited on the premises.
Tournament:
The tournament is split in 2 groups; one for elite players and one open class. Mixed teams with men and women are allowed in both groups. It is also allowed to have team members who are not visually disabled. Teams with only ladies can chose in which class they want to participate.
Maximum 10 teams can participate in each group. The order of entries will be determined by the date the full payment is received. The main Marathon Goalball hompage will be uppdated with list of teams who have entered the tournament.
The rest of the teams will be notified immediately and have the option to stay on a waiting list in case another team withdraws their entry.
The tournament will be devided in 2 separate competitions for each group (open/elite). The first is the marathon tournament. The second part is the Lions Cup. The winner of Lions Cup receives the challenge trophy to keep until next year's tournament.
Most of the officials and some referees will be students from Wendelsberg Folkhögskola which have the goalball tournament as part of their leisure leader training. There will also be referees with IBSA licence.
Transport:
During the tournament transport between Wendelsberg and the Sport Hall will be provided.
Please use public transport to get to Wendelsberg. If you send a mail with information on time and place of arrival to Göteborg, we will advise you on how to get to Wendelsberg.
Accommodation:
There are 2 alternatives:
Dormatory: On the floor in big rooms. The teams have to bring their own mattresses and sleeping bags.
Room: Bedrooms with 1 - 4 beds in each room..
Dinner on Friday night; breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday are included in both alternatives.
Payment for accommodation will be returned only for players who can present a medical certificate proving they were unable to participate.
The team entry fee will not be returned if the team withdraw their entry.

Team entry fee (Elite Class) 600 SEK/team
Team entry fee (Open Class) 400 SEK/team
Dormatory 650 SEK/person
Twin bedrom 1000 SEK/person
